The former Children’s Clinic at the Helsinki University Hospital campus is valued for its historical and architectural qualities. The building, renamed Park Hospital, will undergo a thorough renovation. Park Hospital will house a total of ten operation theatres, four of which are completely new, as well as polyclinics and a day surgery unit. The inpatient ward will have 50 beds on two floors. The historical façade will be renovated to a high standard and see the surrounding park restored to its former glory. The first phase of the project is due completion in 2021.
